Hi — I’m Larry Kaltenbach, the owner of NY NJ | SOUND. I’ve been a location sound mixer and live event sound specialist for over 25 years. My clients’ projects have had me recording interviews flying on Air Force One with a U.S. President down to the ice of Madison Square Garden seconds after the NY Rangers won the Stanley Cup. In between this excitement I’ve worked on hundreds of corporate meetings, live events and thousands of location sound projects for television and social media — all of which I love doing. Whatever project you need a location sound mixer or live sound specialist for, I’ve likely “been there and done that”. I look forward to an opportunity to speak with you about your project.

I’m grateful for the generosity of so many people who offer me seemingly endless opportunities to work on a vast expanse of projects. And, not to forget everyone who’s helped me — family, friends, co-workers, sound equipment manufacturers, vendors, DP’s and other sound mixers that have sent work my way.
