Do you provide the PA equipment or just the operator?

Both. I bring speakers, wireless mics, mixing console, music playback, and cables, and I stay to set up, sound-check, mix, and tear down. The sound kit is quoted to the venue size alongside the operator rate.

How big of an event can you handle?

Boardroom presentations to outdoor events for 2500 guests. For large outdoor coverage areas I deploy up to 12 speakers throughout the venue rather than blasting a few speaker stacks.

Can you provide sound for hybrid events with remote participants?

Yes. I set up multi-mic systems that feed clean audio to both the room or outdoor space and the remote platform.

Live Event Sound
& PA Systems

Speakers, wireless mics and podium mics with an operator who sets up, sound-checks and mixes your event. Specializing in hybrid live events broadcast over the web.

One Operator, Full Setup

Boardroom presentations for 20 people or outdoor ceremonies for 2500. I'm Larry Kaltenbach, an experienced live sound specialist. I bring JBL speakers sized to your indoor or outdoor venue, wireless mics for every presenter, a digital mixing console, and music playback if you need it.

You deal with one person. I arrive early, meet with your teams and video crew to confirm details, run cables, set levels, sound-check every mic, mix the event live, and pack it all out at the end.

I spent two decades mixing live television where there is no second take. A gala keynote or a corporate town hall gets the same prep: backup frequencies programmed, spare mics ready, webcast sound connections confirmed, with all levels set before the first guest arrives.
